Pixel - financial benchmarking webinar
Online on Teams
Starts: Thu 21st November 2024, 10.00 am
We are launching our new Pixel Financial Benchmarking Service! This webinar will show you the data model that we have developed (using PowerBI). Our data model includes a wide range of data, including:
- Revenue Outturn forms (Year-end actual expenditure and income)
- RA forms (Budgets)
- CTB1 (Council tax)
- NNDR (Business Rates)
- Dedicated Schools Grant balances
- Section 251 Children’s Social Care
- Core Spending Power analysis
- ONS mid year population estimates.
The benchmarking service provides a common interface so that users are able to easily view how their local authority compares to England averages, class averages (Mets, London Boroughs, Unitary Authorities, Shire Counties and Shire Districts), Statistical Neighbours/Peer Neighbours, Regional neighbours, and user specified comparator groups.
The service also provides dynamic ranking of spend per head/ income per head/ funding changes per head and trends over time to identify the scope and scale of potential efficiencies, and the relative impact of funding changes amongst others. The interface also allows the ability to drill down to explore data at the lowest level of granularity that the Government data permits.
The cost of the service will be additional to our Funding Advisory Service.
